A Vulnerability Assessment (Scan) is a systematic process to identify weakness or gaps in an organization information systems control.

 

BWNS uses different tools and processes to find security loopholes, vulnerabilities, and disparities in in a network or software system. These vulnerabilities are categorized and ranked for severity.

 

BWNS will recommend mitigation or remediation if needed. This could include patching, polices, additional security controls and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and network-based antivirus programs.
